About Sarah

Who is Sarah?

I was born and raised in Liverpool before moving to North Wales in 1996.  Since then I have loved everything Wales has to offer...the beaches, the woods, the music, the culture.  I love being outdoors, especially in the warmer months when I go walking with my husband Dan (often referred to as Mr Celebrant).  Our house is a mad cat house as there are 5 of the little monsters who allow us to share their home as long as we give in to their every demand!  I love reading (especially Harry Potter) and music, especially when its live.  I used to be a professional singer for several years and I was lucky enough to perform in venues across the UK and some parts of Europe for almost a decade.  As a couple we love chilling in beer gardens and spending time with a mad family and friends in our garden where we're the usual hosts of barbecues and get togethers.

I fell in love with weddings when I was planning my own big day back in 2013 which developed into a small wedding planning business. Over the years I have built a great rapport with so many talented local suppliers and owners of beautiful venues and I feel so lucky to be a part of such an exciting and creative industry.  In 2015 I began training as a Wedding and Naming Celebrant with Civil Ceremonies Ltd. I was invited by the course coordinator to return to train as a Funeral Celebrant the following year. By January 2017 I was a fully fledged Civil Celebrant and I've never looked back.
